I am 2.5 weeks post augmentation with 300ccHP and happy with the size but don't want them to get any smaller. Once they drop and settle will I notice an increase in size or fullness? I notice now under my nipple in the lower part of my breast it does seem empty. Once the implant moves down will it fill out that portion of breast more and appear fuller? My right is still higher and tighter than my left. Is the muscle still constricting them at this point or are they close to their true size? Thank you!!
Answer: Post op Hello,At this point you will still have a little firmness and asymmetry which will likely settle. As Implants drop and fluff, the volume shifts downward to fill out the lower pole of the breast more fully. I recommend that you allow at least 6 months to evaluate your results. All the best

Answer: Postop Changes At 2.5 weeks you are still recovering from your breast augmentation. Your size is unlikely to change with time. The upper pole will flatten slightly and the lower pole will fill out more. I have heard the term "fluff" used on real self before, but it is not accurate. The breast does not fluff up or increase in size with time. The implants stop riding high as the muscle and tissues relax. Hope this helps!

Answer: How will they change after they drop and fluff? (Photo) Thank you for your question and photographs, and it appears that you will have a very nice result. After placement of implants, the overall appearance of the breasts will change dramatically as the implants drop, and the overlying tissue stretches to accommodate the extra volume. At 2.5 weeks your implants are still sitting a bit high on your chest due to skin and muscle swelling, but this should resolve over the next 4-6 weeks. Though your overall size won't change, the implant will redistribute its volume to make the lower portion of the breast larger and appear more natural. I know waiting is difficult, but judge your results at 4-6 months after surgery as most of your breast changes should have occurred by then. Hope this helps.

Answer: Breast Implants/ Breast Augmentation/ Anatomic Gummy Bear Implants/ Silicone Implants/ Breast Implant Revision Surgery I appreciate your question. Right now, you are very early on in the post op recovery period. It will take 3-6 months for you to feel comfortable having implants in your body and for them to settle. This time allows for you to physically and psychologically adapt to your new body image. There are many variables that contribute to a breast augmentation's final result. Preop size and shape, IMF location, location of the implants and type of implant. Patients heal at different rates and each breast will sometimes heal at a different rate. You will not lose any volume but the way your implant sits on your chest wall will change, and can result in different ‘fills’ to your bra. Rest, relax, recover and heal. Please Express your concerns to your surgeon so he/she can examine you at this time. Then reassess final result at 6 months. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. Best of luck!Dr. Schwartz

Answer: Breast changes Hello, generally the implants will drop slightly and soften over several months. It is difficult to predict whether there will be much change in size.
