What is aggressive liposuction?

I would like to have a BRazilian butt lift. As I'm doing my research, I'm seeing there may be a limit as to how many liters can be removed depending on which state it's done in.. I know it's not necessarily about the amount but the sculpting. I would love to stay close to home but I'm not seeing a whole lot of doctors work around this area.

For outpatient surgery, I limit the total lipoaspirate volume to 5 Liters for safety reasons. Aggressive liposuction is a relative term... there is ideal amount of fat to remove from any given area to result in an ideal contour. If too much fat is removed, contour irregularities can result. I would meet with a boarded plastic surgeon, and he/she should be able to give you a sense as to whether or not you have enough excess fat to augment buttocks to your desired size.

Aggressive liposuction can refer to the amount of area covered for fat removal or amount of fat recovered from any given area. Too much fat removed from a given area can lead to contour deformity, hyperpigmentation, and other problems. Many of these problems can be difficult or impossible to improve.

There is no absolute amount of fat that can be defined is a limit for liposuction for a given patient. The overall health of the patient as well as the efficiency of the surgeon certainly play a role. Most plastic surgeons limit the amount between four and 6 L

The fat transfer to the buttocks can easily be performed with 4 liters of total fat harvest from a liposuction procedure. If you want more fat removed purely from the liposuction perspective then your surgery will typically be done in a hospital for safety reasons. Liposuction needs to be done in safe and appropriate amounts.    If too little is taken this amounts to nibbling.  If too much aggression is exerted the result is deformity.    The perfect amount must be taken to get the perfect result.     My Best,     Dr Commons
