I got my ears pierced when I was 15, but my one ear was so low that I was afraid my earlobe would rip. I took them out just in August of this year after I turned 20.

Answer: Torn ear lobe Torn ear lobes happen in all age groups. Heavy earrings and traumatic tears are quite common. Unfortunately, the earring track is a well healed tunnel and is unlikely to seal by itself. Ear lobe repair is common and can be done under local anesthesia. The tunnel is removed and the thickness of the ear is closed. Fortunately, earlobes typically heal well with minimal scar visibility. Because the scar is weaker than normal tissues, piercings are done adjacent to the scar and 8-12 weeks post repair.Good luck

Answer: Repair Thanks for the question, you should probably have the stretched lobe repaired first than wait 3 months after that to have them pierced!
