4 wks ago had breast revision surgery. Capsulotomy both sisdes, seroma removal from left side and 2 tears repaired. Went from 650-425. Surgery went great. Week 3, noticed left was slightly bigger, at week 4, it was noticeably bigger. PS said its a seroma. To ice it and take antibiotics for 2 weeks. If that doesnt work, will evacuate seroma for $3,000. Wouldnt a needle aspiration guided by ultrasound be cheaper and grant same results? Do seromas resolve on their own?
