i look at my face and it looks imbalanced. the right side of my face looks full while the left looks like it is incomplete. my chin seems to be pointed more towards the left of my face. it might be my jawline is more pronounced on my right side and less on my left. what can i do to balance my face?
Answer: Correction of mild facial asymmetry It looks like you have relatively mild facial asymmetry. This is considered within normal limits in adult population. Asymmetry is a result of asymmetric bone development in most cases.Correction can be achieved in different ways. The easiest way would be left face augmentation with fillers, in particular left cheek and area underneath the left orbit. This may give you an idea what kind of correction you can expect if you proceed with more permanent solution by means of augmentation with fat grafting of the left side of the face. Finally, placement of small cheek implant will create more balance and will address the underlying bone deficiency. Or, a combination of these procedures? You should consult an experienced plastic surgeon in your area for detailed evaluation and discuss your options. Good luck.

Answer: Facial Asymmetry You do have a significant degree of facial asymmetry. The first decision is to determine which side of your face you like the most and then adjust the other other side to better match it. That choice is critical and that would determine whether it would be an augmentative or reductive approach to your facial asymmetry surgery. Since you favor the right side of your face, the left jawline/angle needs to be built up with a custom designed implant. The soft tissue above it may be built up with fat injections an possibly a small cheek implant.

Answer: What can I do to make my face more symmetrical? Hi, from the photos one side of the face is higher, wider and more full across the mid face than the other. There is no way to make the two sides of the face symmetrical, however following the beauty principles outlined in my book on face and body beauty, you can make your face more ruggedly handsome. Men look ruggedly handsome with angularity in the cheeks, chin and mandibular angle. While your have angularity and projection in the chin and jaw line, your cheeks are very flat anteriorly (in the front). This tends to accentuate the asymmetry between the two sides of your face. Cheek augmentation with cheek implants can create more angularity to the cheeks that will make the face appear to be more symmetrical. You may also want to consider Rhinoplasty, or more precisely a Tip-plasty to thin and refine the nasal tip as a means of increasing the overall level of facial attractiveness. Hope this helps.

Answer: Asymmetry of the Face All individuals have some degree of facial asymmetry. For individuals with severe differences boney correction is warranted , you are not at that point. I would recommend soft tissue fillers to improve the symmetry which I stress will not be totally corrected but improved to a degree.
