Worried about being too small and too big all at the same time. 5'9/ 63kg/ 11.7 bwd/ small 10B. Size 6-8 clothing. Will there be a noticeable difference between the two sizes? Want to be a natural looking D without looking too big or fake. Please see photos. Please recommend.
Answer: The right size for you It is very difficult to determine the exact size and shape implant you will require to best match your ideal breast image without an examination by a board certified plastic surgeon. Not just any board certified plastic surgeon, but one with many years of frequently performing breast augmentation surgery including different approaches, techniques and implant choices. This is because several measurements not to mention your breast characteristics are needed to determine the optimal implant size to obtain your goals. Without knowing these dimensions it would be difficult to make this determination. For example, the existing base width of your breast will determine, in many cases, the maximal volume per implant profile that you can accommodate. To illustrate; a 100 cc difference may make a significant difference with a narrow base width breast, but much less of a difference if you have a wide chest wall and wide breast “foot print”. Therefore, just because your friend may have a great result with let’s say a 350 cc implant to make her go from a “A” cup to a “C” cup size does not mean that you will have the same result with the same size implant. . Further simply placing implants in a bra to determine the size best for you is not always accurate as the bra often distorts the size, is dependent on the pressure the bra places plus the implant is outside your breast and not under it among other variables. Computer software morphing programs that automatically determine the best implant size can be helpful in some but not all cases (e.g. doesn’t work well in my experience with existing implants, sagging or asymmetric breasts). Using “want to be” photos however are useful if simply provided to the surgeon as I will further explain in the below link.#breastaugmentation#findingtherightsize#BA

Answer: 325cc or 350cc implants? The difference between the two is slight, but I always advise my patients that if they are torn between to sizes, choose the larger of the two. If you had an opportunity to try on sizers, the implants will appear a bit smaller once they are under the muscle and tissues. With either of those sizes, I think you will have a natural result that you will be happy with. Good luck!

Answer: Breast Augmentation Thank you for your question about breast augmentation.Selecting the most appropriate breast implant size for breast augmentation is a personal decision that ultimately you have to make. An in-person consultation with implant sizing is best.It depends on your height, weight and breast base width diameter. To know what might be right for you, see two or more experienced, board-certified Plastic Surgeons for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have breast augmentation or related breast surgery.I hope this helps.

Answer: Which would you recommend; 325cc or 350cc high profile mentor silicone for tall broad 5'9? (photos) Based on your photos and the fact that you are 5'9'', I think you should consider a larger implant if you want to be a natural D cup. If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend that you try on the implants with a sports bra prior to making a final decision. If you are confident that either 325 or 350cc's is right for you, then go with the larger size. There is less than two tablespoons difference in size. Good luck!

Answer: Size choice Thank you for your question. I recommend that you seek a board certified Plastic Surgeon who specialises in this procedure and who's before and after photos appeal to you. After discussing your expectations and taking measurements, your surgeon will be able to provide a small range of sizes based on dimensional breast augmentation which takes into account your breast measurements and desired look. I recommend that you try on the sizers in office to get a feel for how they look in clothing. Because the implant sizes increase by only a couple mm and 20-30 ccs in volume, a very precise fit can be found for you and guessing would be only a ballpark. If you are stuck between two sizes which are very similar- 25ccs apart, do not worry that the slightly larger one will make the difference between natural looking and "fake." the difference is not that large. All the best
