Considering thigh liposuction after having flanks and stomach done 10 years ago. Is it normal to do this?

I had liposuction 10 years ago on my stomach and love handles. I've kept my weight in check but after 10 years my thighs have gotten a bit big. I'm not by any means large. I'm 38 5'7 148 lbs. I want to get a slight reduction in my thighs inner and outer as I feel the fat settles there the most. I was told this would happen if I got stomach lipo. My question is: Where will the fat go in 10 years now that I would have done my thighs, stomach and love handles? Also looking for a surgeon in NYC. Thank you!

This is a bit difficult to answer as to how to predict future body changes, but liposuction may be the best solution based upon your description.

Thank you for your question.Liposuction should be very beneficial for you based on your previous experience. It is difficult to say where you would have additional fat if you gained a little weight. My recommendation would be to loose a few pounds with a good diet and exercise regimen, before or after liposuction. All The Best !

From what you are describing it sounds like you could benefit from liposuction. The down time for this procedure is usually just a few days. After the first few days it is more a feeling of stiffness and soreness.

It sounds like you are probably a great candidate for thigh liposuction. If you remain weight stable, the results can be long-lasting. If you gain a lot of weight, fat can come back in treated and non treated areas.
