My orbicularis oculi was damaged from my lower bleph 12 years ago and a canthopexy 4 years ago (to try and fix my lower lid retraction) made it much worse. My eyes don’t fully close all the way - it’s affected my entire face - I look distorted. How does a doctor repair something like this or is there absolutely no cure, no hope at all?

Asymmetry of the eyelids from Thyroid Eye Disease typically responds best to surgical options. Filler and botox can certainly camouflage the asymmetry to some degree. I recommend seeing an eyelid specialist who deals with Thyroid Eye Disease.
