In my opinion if you are having something minor and conservative definitely you would be able to come back to work in two weeks. If the procedure includes a muscle repair, lipo to other additional areas and fat grafting to your butt. Then I would encourage you to take one more week off. Be encouraged. Dr. Cardenas
Thanks for the question. It’s too early to comment over the result. First couple of days after the surgery you can back to work and couple of weeks later your permanent recovery will start. It’s possible to see some major changes in Tummy Tuck results till the end of 12 months recovery. I wish you all the best
I recommend a week off after liposuction of the abdomen. A tummy tuck, even a mini-tuck, should require a longer recuperation period. I would also hope that you have truly ascertained that this is the right operation for you and that you do not need tightening above the umbilicus. By my estimate, close to 90 percent of patients do need more than the mini-tuck.
Most patients take 5 - 7 working days off after a mini tummy tuck and liposuction, depending on the areas and the amount of lipsuction. As a massage therapist, you may need more time off. The total time of surgery ranges from one to two hours. The total cost of surgery ranges from$4100 - $6000 depending on the extent of surgery. The total cost includes the board certified professional fee, board certified anesthesia fee, and Medicare approved surgicenter.
Mini-tummy tuck does not usually entail muscle repair. Along with liposuction , a week is usually sufficient for recovery. I usually leave one drain in place which is removed after one week. Then patients can exercise and advance their activity as tolerated.
On average patients usually return to work 2 weeks after a tummy tuck and a small amount of liposuction. However it is very important that you follow your plastic surgeon's instructions.Be prepared that if you have any difficulties in healing you may need more time out of work. During this first 2 weeks he should avoid heavy lifting and be certain to have help with child care the first week.
Congrats on your weight loss success! The most important decision to be made before performing any surgical procedure is determining whether you are an ideal #candidate. #Weight, and more specifically body mass index (BMI), need to be considered when deciding. For instance, studies have shown...
Dear jroo80, what you have could be a couple of different things but the good news is that it won't be much of a problem because it will resolve quickly. The most common thing is a retained or festered suture. Retained sutures in that location sometimes will fester especially if you...
I am not sure why you can't find a Board Certified Plastic surgeon in the tri-state area that is willing, capable, qualified, and competent to perform both a tummy tuck and a rhinoplasty during the same surgery. If your fat transfers are to your buttocks that may be the problem as you would need...
