Is it safe to get a round 2 BBL if i have Lipoma on my hip. I had my first bbl 3 year ago but i have some dents and flat areas on the side of my cheeks. I don't necessarily care to go bigger this time but my goal is to make my buttock rounder and shapely. After having my First BBL, i developed a Lipoma (its round and kinda moves if i press on it.) It doesn't hurt. Also, last year i had Anal Fistula Surgery and Early this year, i had Abscess on the bottom right side of my buttock.

Answer: Lipoma an BBL Dear Dreamy, There are no contraindications (restrictions) for doing a BBL with a lipoma present. I used to suction lipomas out, however, there is a higher incidence of re-occurrence with liposuction of a lipoma vs excision. They do take a long time to regrow if they do come back. Dr. T

Answer: BBL with lipoma Most plastic surgeons I’ve spoken to do not recommend removing lipomas with liposuction. It’s possible your surgeon may liposuction through the lipoma. That is something you should talk to your provider about. Sometimes fat transfer can help with shape and sometimes shape is limited because of underlying connective tissue that does not allow the skin to project more. Without a picture we cannot make an assessment in regards to your candidacy or the outcome of your first procedure. I suggest you discuss all your concerns with your provider before your surgery.
