Thank you for your question. At this point, you are experiencing swelling which is normal after surgery. It will take up to one full year from your procedure to be fully healed from your rhinoplasty. I suggest that you continue to discuss your recovery expectations and progress with your board certified facial plastic surgeon.Best wishes,
I would continue to wait to see how swelling decreases in time and to followup with your surgeon; sometimes there are areas that become more prominent and then decrease in time..
A full recovery after rhinoplasty can really only be seen 1 year after the procedure. At 1 month post op, you are still experiencing swelling; once the swelling subsides you’d be better able to judge the results. I would suggest keeping in touch with the surgeon that performed the procedure.
At one month out, you are likely very swollen and have to give it time to heal. Everyone has some asymmetry in their face with some tilting of the nose.
Thank you for your question. One month post surgery is really early on in the healing process and you will still have significant swelling. Typically, the initial swelling after nose surgery subsides within two to three weeks. However, residual swelling, especially in the tip of the nose, can take about a year to resolve as the contour refines. I would advise following up with your surgeon so he/she is made aware of your concerns and can track your progress. Best of luck to you!
At 1 month post op, it is still very early in the healing process. Your surgeon may want to show you nasal exercises that assist in healing. Follow up with your surgeon as recommended so he or she can monitor your progress.
