Very minimal results 1 month after Lipo. Could I still be very swollen? (photos)

I tell my patients not to judge their final lipo results for at least 6 months.  Swelling can sometimes last even longer.  I keep my patient in compression garments 24/7 for 1 week and then at night for an additional 2 weeks. 

Only one month postop, still a fair amount of swelling. I expect all swelling to be gone after 6 months. Try to stay patient.

Hi,  I like some of the curves that are developing but one month is not the time to see your final result.  You need 6 months to one year but if there are suggestions to you along the way by your plastic surgeon, consider them.  If you are in my practice, I would not do anything other than wait.  I disagree that you have 89 % of the swelling gone at one month.  Those lumps and bumps you describe are scar and swollen tissue and that too will improve with time.  Be patient as Dr. Tornambe suggests.  It is amazing what happens with time after liposuction.

It certainly looks like you have a significant improvement.  Best to give it more time. I usually tell patients that you won't see a final result for 4-6 months.
