Hello! I agree completely with the other physician's answer. CoolSculpting is a suction device and that sensation can cause minor anxiety. Coolsculpting uses applicators which are attached to the skin using suction and a treatment can typically last anywhere from 35 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes. The sensation of the suction pulling and tugging on the skin can feel foreign to some patients and cause some anxiety. As the skin becomes numb after 5-10 minutes the sensation resolves and patients' anxiety usually goes away. Best of Luck
