I got my outer thighs done a few days ago and there’s still a noticeable applicator-shaped redness and dark reddish brown outlines on one leg. What can I do to make this go away?

Thank you for submitting a picture with your inquiry.  Bruising is very typical after coolsculpt. There are a couple of things you can do to speed that healing of the bruising up.  Running a laser, like the Aerolase Neo or buying an OTC topical containing Arnica.  Eating pineapple can have the same effects as Arnica.  If you have any concerns, please be sure to follow up with office you were treated at.

It is very common to have some redness or even bruising after your CoolSculpting treatment. I would give this area a little more time to settle, if it is not improving I would call the practice you went to for a follow up appointment.

It is not unusual to have some minor discoloration in the area after a Coolsculpting treatment. This will slowly fade and return to normal. It can take anywhere from a week or two up to a couple months (for a bad bruise). I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist for after care. Redness can be improved with lasers (ProYellow, Excel V, VBeam) and microneedling/prp. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Hi,  You are VERY new post treatment and the approach at this time is to stay calm and realize that an applicator bruising can be present but in almost all cases, this will fade and need no treatment whatsoever.  You can discuss with your doctor but you do not need lasers or any of the treatments that we have unless this area persists and then there are many ways to approach any irregularities.

Hi, I would give this area a little more time to calm down, looks to be a bruise that may just take time to go away.  I would re-visit your doctors office if this is still here at the 1 month mark or sooner if you are  concerned.

I would be patient especially since you had this done only a few days ago.  These marks should go away without any treatment.  If you have a body lotion, that would be helpful but time is really what it is going to take.  Sometimes people can get hyperpigmentation of their skin after treatment, but it takes longer than a few days to develop.
