5 days post-op, will my boobs get closer together and have better cleavage when they drop? (photos)

You are early in your post operative course.  It looks like you are healing normally from the operation.  The implants will typically rise up after surgery.  They typically start to fall at one month.  They can take 6 to 12 months to get to their appropriate position.  Please follow your Plastic Surgeon's instructions.  Each Board Certified Plastic Surgeon may have their own protocol.  Let them know your thoughts.  Jeffrey J. Thanks for your question.At 5 days, not much has happened in terms of settling and cleavage formation. It’s best not to judge. On the other hand, I suggest you speak with your plastic surgeon about expectations and ways to achieve your goals. Congratulations and best wishes. Dr. Aldo

Thank you for your question.  At this point in recovery I expect your breasts to still be swollen.  It will take several weeks for your breasts to settle and shape into their new breast pocket.  Judging by your photograph your breasts do not seem to be sagging, as the breast lift eliminated that from occuring. I encourage you to continue following all post-operative instructions and regular follow-up visits with your board certified plastic surgeon.  Good luck! 

Thank you for your question. You appear to be healing normally. It is not uncommon to have swelling. Breasts may not heal at the same rate, causing one breast to appear different than the other. It can take up to 12 weeks for the implants to settle and you to see the final result. Give it a bit longer before deciding if you are satisfied with the final result or not. Follow up with your board certified surgeon to address your concern. Good luck!
