I see a known plastic surgeon for Botox and Juvaderm injections. However, my Dr. Is not able to see me this week and his office offered me an appointment with one of their nurses. They told me the Dr. supports the practice but I have never received the injections by their nurse. What should I ask the office about the nurse before deciding to proceed?

Swelling is a common side effect from lip injections and can last for approx. 2 weeks. After 2 weeks if you still have an undesired look, schedule a follow up with your injector to discuss your concerns. At that time you may have the product removed with hyaluronidase. Best,
Thank you for your question. There is a possibility the area still contains product and needs to be dissolved. Sometimes hyaluronidase treatments need to be repeated in order to obtain full results. Best,
Thank you for your question. From your photo it is difficult to assess the area. Please schedule a follow up with your injector to discuss your concerns and obtain treatment. If this is a lump of product you may require a hyaluronidase injection. Best,
