Depending on where you put the juvederm will determine how long it will last for( areas with less movement will last longer). In the Nasolabial folds the product will normally last for 6 months maybe longer after multiple treatments as the product layers. It is important that you have enough product at each treatment to give you the results you want and for the product to last the full 6 months. I would also suggest speaking to your injector about adding volume to the cheeks as that tends to conquer the real reason for the fold to begin with , as the folds are generally caused by the loss of volume in our cheeks as we age. Hope that is helpful, best of luck .
Juvederm Ultra/Ultra Plus lasts anywhere from 6 to 12 months. You may notice that it does not "last" in the nasolabial folds because putting it into the folds doesn't address the main process of aging. Nasolabial folds form as the result of atrophy of the malar (cheek) fat pad and recession and downward tilt of the maxilla (bones in the cheek areas). Revolumizing this fat pad and cheekbone area with either Juvederm Voluma ( a new Hyaluronic acid filler that lasts 2 years or more and FDA approved for just this purpose), or one of the collagen stiumalating fillers (Radiesse or Sculptra Aesthetic) will achieve a "lift" of the midface, diminishing your nasolabial folds and giving you a younger and fresher appearance.Hope this was helpful and good luck!
If you had full correction of your smile lines on both occasions, the Juvederm will probably last about one year at this point. If you did not have enough at each session, you will not be happy with the result and it will not last as long. Speak to your injector about your goals.
Depending on the location and the depth of injection, Juvederm usually lasts 6-9 months. Since the skin around the mouth is very active (talking, eating, etc), injections every 6 months is reasonable and safe. The skin around the mouth can require a relatively large amount of product compared to other areas on the face, which may explain your suboptimal results. Placing some filler in the cheeks can help "lift" the skin around the mouth and give more visible results.
Juvederm can last 6-12 months depending upon the form of Juvederm you used. In addition, I fill to achieve a result that the patient is satisfied with. This could be a 1/2 syringe, 1 syringe or 2-3 or even 4-6 syringes. Everyone's needs are different.
Juvederm last anywhere from 6-12 months in the lips. When the product is layered over time it tends to last a little longer for some individuals. Having needles injected into the skin will also trigger your body to produce collagen which will help with the longevity of the juvederm.
Sounds plausible but I would than use Belotero Balance over a 2 weeks session of injections to build up the layering effect...
Your question and comments are very interesting. Festoons are usually caused by edema or swelling or laxity of the skin that comes with aging. I am familiar with the hydrophilic nature of hyaluronic acid, but that is usually in the first month after injection, which is why we see...
In general, Juvederm lasts for 6-8 months on average. It is unlikely there is any Juvederm left after 3 years, which is what your physician may have been speaking of. It is difficult to provide advice without seeing photos or performing an exam. I would recommend following up with your...
Thank you for your question. During your in person consultation discuss which product will provide you with optimum results. If similar results will be obtained between the 2 products then decide based on price and longevity. Some Juvederm products last longer than others, ensure you...
Thank you for your question. It is difficult to determine how long the blue lines will last. Typically they can last 1 - 1.5 years, you can schedule a follow up with your injector to discuss a hyaluronidase injection to dissolve the left over product. Your other option is to wait until it...
