Tip drop after rhinoplasty. How can this be treated? (Photo)

I had rhinoplasty, wanted straight nose and no upturn. My nose is so upturn, that I worry how much it drops. It made my nose to look too short, I am unhappy. I look like a pig

Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for revision rhinoplasty. The tip appears to be a bit long and droopy and you still have a small bump. What is the difference between a personal and cadaver rib graft? Is there a contrast between complications associated with both?

There were no large studies to compare long term outcome of these two type of rib grafts for nasal reconstruction. However, many of us that are using both type of grafts have impression that there is no significant difference in take, survival, resorption, etc. Hope this helps.

This is from your sunglasses pressing on the area. I would not wear any glasses until 6 months as this may push on the edema and cause irregularities that may or may not be permanent.

Your photos doesn’t demonstrate a “line” per se, but I can see you have this nasal skin and perhaps visible irregularities. Depending on your condition, microdroplet Silikon-1000 nasal injections may be considered for smoothing indentations. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph
