I've recently started getting red hot ears on a daily basis. My ears are naturally slightly red, could this be rosacea? (Photos)

I've got what could be described as very mild rosacea. The problem usually occurs in the late afternoon which is really, really annoying. They usually go red first (without getting hot) and then eventually get hot as well. Am I correct in thinking that IPL treatment would be more effective in case than laser? Also, are there any clinics around Nottingham (or East Midlands) that have experience in treating redness? Those I've approached have usually used IPL for hair removal only.
