This will likely go away, but may take several weeks to months. This is exactly why I don't believe nurses should be doing procedures such as this. They perform the procedures, but don't know how to manage complications or issues should they arise. I recommend following up with a cosmetic dermatologist for after care. This can be improved with lasers like clear + brilliant or Fraxel along with pulsed dye laser or V Beam and microneedling/prp. I find that growth factors and silicone based scar gels help this as well along with enzematic cleansers. Track marks occur when "stamping" rather than "continuous" lasers are used. This can sometimes leave marks on the face that last several weeks after the laser has been completed. I have never seen this as a permanent issue after laser. I would continue to loop back in with your doctor so he can assist you through the healing process. We routinely pre and post treat our patients with creams before they have laser procedures done.
