Thank you for your question!!Unfortunately, without photos of the area, I am unable to answer in great detail. However, this would be possible to perform the surgery under Local Anaesthetic. After the procedure, you will typically walk out the same day as this is such a small and simple procedure only lasting between 30-45 minutes. This procedure is becoming even more popular. it will be a bit fiddly but this would be possible exactly as you suggest by using a 'punchbiopsy' tool to remove the skin which lines the piercing channel and then stitching. awake local anaesthetic surgery.  would take less than 30 mins to do.
