All my life I have been self conscious of my chubby cheeks. I am very small and petite, but with huge chipmunk cheeks which makes me look fat from the top but the rest of my body is skinny. I have tried losing more weight and facial exercise but nothing helps. I have always dreamed of having a slim face.Someone recommended chin and cheek filler but I’m not sure, plus I’m assuming this won’t last very long? I’m 26 years old, very active- Your advice would be much appreciated thank you in advance.

Based on your photos, you seem like you would be a quite suitable candidate for a buccal fat removal procedure and benefit from it in regards to your issues. This procedure can help slim the lower face and reduce the chubbiness in the lower cheeks. Volume and contouring of the cheeks can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Implants or fat are alternatives. Botox and radiofrequency can help slim and contour the jawline. Liposuction can help slim the face. Ultherapy, J Plasma and rf treatments can provide skin tightening and lift. Great question!  Depending on your goals, a buccal lipectomy can help improve your facial shape by shrinking down the lower cheek region.  By doing this, the jawline and the cheeks become more defined and contoured.  Another treatment to think about is Botox to the posterior jawline as this will also help slim the face from a more squared to a more oval appearance on the frontal views.  However, it is always best to have an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon so that your goals are reviewed and the best treatment recommended

Elongating the face with Botox® Cosmetic, Xeomin or Jeuveau injections into the chewing (masseter) muscles, as well as elongating the chin with filler are the best ways to slim down the mid face.

Thank you for your question, from the pictures you provided it looks like you would benefit from a “cheek lift” with Radiesse. Depending on how much volume and lift you would like is the amount of filler the provider would need to use. Since it is your first time 1.5cc sounds like a good start you can always follow up in 2 weeks with your injector and fill in more in needed. Best of luck!
