Would cheek filler help add fullness back into my cheeks?

I recently lost weight and I feel the apples of my cheeks have sunk in and even my under eye bags have become more pronounced. Would I be a good candidate for cheek filler? Would it affect my dimples (when I smile)?

Volume and contouring of the cheeks can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Implants or fat grafting are more permanent alternatives. If the eye bags require further treatment, a combination approach with fillers, lasers, microneedling/PRP, Cosmelan peels and stem cells can all help give some improvement. You appear to be a great candidate for cheek filler to restore volume to your cheeks. I recommend using a stiffer product like Voluma or Restylane Lyft. I would also recommend adding a softer filler like Restylane Silk to the under-eye area to make your bags less noticeable. Good luck.

Yes! You would be a perfect candidate for cheek filler.  The cheek filler can also help with your under eye bags.  However, you may still need a filler like Restylane to be injected in your tear troughs to achieve an optimal result.      We like to use Voluma, Restylane Lyft or Radiesse in the cheeks to restore volume and create an aesthetically pleasing contour.    The cheek filler will absolutely not affect your dimples when you smile.  You will just look like a more refreshed, younger version of yourself.  Good Luck!

Hyaluronic acid based fillers, such as Voluma, would be a great option to help enhance the cheek area. The filler can be placed more laterally or more medially to help provide more fullness at the "apple" of your cheek. It should not affect your dimples when you smile!

Yes, hyaluronic acid based fillers are commonly used to treatment volume loss in the cheeks. I prefer Restylane Lyft when treating the midface/cheeks.

Fillers like juvederm voluma or restylane Lyft are great options to replace or add volume to the mid face and cheek. Your results depend on how much you have put in, but generally a good starting place is one vial per side. Also if you don’t care for the result, they can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if necessary. I would not expect this to have any effects on your dimples. Good luck!

You would likely benefit from some fillers for your cheeks and tear troughs.   There are different types of fillers that can be used and you can start small and gradually add more volume until you get the look you prefer.   Good luck.

Fillers like Juvederm Voluma are excellent at restoring volume after loss of it for any reason, including weight loss, in the cheeks. Make sure you see an expert in treating this area, as many practitioners use a less elevating product and the results are not the same. Fat is also excellent.
