Hi, I have had cheek bone filler and mid face filler however it has not treat the actual line, is this possible with superficial filler? See pictures. They’re inherited from my dad and I’m really self conscious about them and they’re only going to get worse as I get older!
Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Higher G’ filler As stated previously, this can be fixed with filler. I would start with a thicker (higher G’) filler first like Voluma or Restylane Lyft. From there, 4-6 weeks later you can come back for a touch up with the same or a thinner (lower G’) filler places more superficially.

Answer: Treating with filler Thank you for your question. From looking at your images, I would suggest that your concerns about your grooves and lines could be addressed with a dermal filler. But not just any filler. Ellanse is certainly a filler I would recommend you consider. Its qualities mean that it stimulates the body’s own natural collage production, meaning results improve in the month’s post treatment. It is also, longer lasting - up to four years. However, if you have not had filler treatment in this area before I would suggest you start with an HA filler, such as Perfectha. HA fillers do not last as long, and are dissolvable, allowing you to get a sense of the type of result you want to achieve and make sure you are 100% happy with it. I would not recommend treating your eye bags with Ellanse however, and for this area I would use Perfectha, as described above.

Answer: Dermal filler for mid cheek grooves. Hi, Just like in your case, we usually advise having first midface cheek augmentation with dermal filler placed deep in the tissues. Four to six weeks after the treatment, you can have a review, and check the areas of the cheek that need further improvement. Mid cheek groove is not always easy to treat and more often than not, we cannot completely eradicate this mid cheek line. One way of improving it is by using a dermal filler called "Skin Booster". This filler can be placed more superficially in the groove itself. It will increase skin hydration and "fill" the groove, making it less prominent. Smaller amounts of this cosmetic dermal fillers are advised initially to avoid the risk of puffiness and superficial nodules. This treatment is excellent, but you may need to have it repeated after a few months to maintain results. I hope this advice is of help to you. Best Wishes from Melbourne, Australia.

Answer: Grooves are treatable The grooves can be improved and possibly eliminated with injection of filler into the fatty tissue just below the skin.
