Nose swelling again 10 months post-op closed septorhinoplasty, scared it will stay like this

Two days ago, I've visited my surgeon. He said everything was fine. I'm still very careful with my nose and I don't even touch my tip. Because of that a layer of mucus has evolved on my tip. My surgeon cleaned the tip of my nose with a cotton pad a bit roughly. It hurt for the moment but afterwards it didn't hurt anymore neither it became red. My surgeon told me, nothing could happen anymore. Since then my nose is swelling again. Especially the sides of it. I'm scared it will stay like this

Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can understand your question, without any photo I cannot make a proper evaluation. If you can provide photos from front, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. However, with closed rhinoplasty you nose is not swelling that much. It might be something wrong about it. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!
