What are the cost for pre-op plastic surgery test in the UK vs Abroad?

a breast augmentation in Prague. I have been told they can do my pre operative tests such as Blood test, ECG, ultrasound ect at their clinic at a fee of €200 or have them done at home (England) before hand. Do you know if this Is something that comes with a fee from your GP too?

Thank you for your question. Based on the symptoms you described, you can be experiencing some nerve pain. Please follow up with your plastic surgeon for an in-person assessment. Perhaps he/she can provide you with a nerve medications to help with your symptoms.

Hello, Thanks for your question. There is no evidence that taking ibuprofen after surgery increases your risk of capsular contracture. I prescribe ibuprofen or ketorolac a few days after surgery and have not had any issues with bleeding or capsular contracture. Best, Dr B.

Thank you for your question. Many surgeons perform more than a dozen breast augmentations in one day. This is not considered an overload if it is a board certified plastic surgeon that has plenty experience. If you are concerned, you can ask your plastic surgeon to operate on you early in the day.

You should wear a surgical garment or sports bra for 6 weeks post surgery. You should go for regular check ups to ensure you are healing well and your surgeon will be able to tell you when it is safe not to wear a bra at night.
