Options for ear reconstuction after conch punch (a large conch piercing where a piece of cartilage is removed with a biopsy punch)? A piece of cartilage (about 4 mm) has been removed from the conch. Can any plastic surgeon reconstruct this?

The result is unsatisfactory as the upper helix edge is still bent forward like a shovel. This can be corrected minimally invasively with the Merck Stitch Method, without having to cut open the ear.
Unfortunately, I was unable to see any photos. However, if you do have a spitting stitch, it’s best to return to your surgeon so they can resolve the situation. They’ll most likely just remove or trim it. It’s a good idea to get this addressed earlier than later, to minimize the risk of infection.
