Hi, Should I do Clear and Brilliant and IPL in the same session one after the other? Clear and Brilliant does it hurts? Thank you
Answer: Clear and Brilliant laser plus IPL Doing and IPL treatment immediately followed by a Clear and Brilliant treatment will give enhanced results. A topical anaesthetic cream is used for the laser making it quite comfortable.

Answer: Combination therapy is safe and effective For many patients, depending upon Fitz skin type, the combination of IPL and Clear + Brilliant can be safely performed. Be sure to have these treatments performed by a provider who is experienced in the use of combination therapies with these two devices. I would recommend having your IPL done before the C+B treatment for best results. This is a safe and effective method to treat dyschromia as well as stimulate collagen.

Answer: IPL + C&B Combination Treatments IPL is often used to treat pigmentation as well as vascular problems and C&B can be used to address overall textural concerns, so they do make a good combination. These procedures can definitely be safely combined, but the key word is safely. Find an experienced provider to perform your treatment. The provider should thoroughly understand the risks and the physiology of both treatments.

Answer: How Long to Wait Between Clear and Brilliant and IPL Hi Emma3110, I suggest my patients wait ~4 weeks between Clear and Brilliant and IPL. I would certainly not recommend IPL and Clear and Brilliant on the same day. This would be extremely irritating to your skin and very unsafe. Both treatments inflict a controlled damage to the skin that requires time to heal before any subsequent treatment. Keep in mind that if hyperpigmentation (brown spots/sun spots) or redness is your main concern, you can get very effective lightening of these areas with the Clear and Brilliant Permea handpiece. I recommend Clear and Brilliant Permea to anyone that is hoping to lighten hyperpigmentation but also wants texture improvement (minimizing pore size, softer more radiant skin overall). There is minimal discomfort with Clear and Brilliant. I numb my patients with a topical numbing gel for 20 minutes before treatment. During the procedure, most people feel a slight "prickling" sensation. Towards the end of the treatment, your face will begin to feel very warm, similar to a sunburn. This sensation will last ~12-24 hours. Hope this helps!
