I had one fraxel treatment a couple of years ago and had a very bad histamine reaction. My face broke out in a wave of hives. I was prescribed antibiotics and a moisturizing cream. Now I am scheduled for a clear & brilliant treatment. Will I likely have the same histamine reaction?

Answer: Clear and Brilliant laser and Melarase creams
All good, 6-8 passes using the 1927 at 5 mj...which is at its maximum. Laser itself will not be effective, you must combine this with a lightening agent - such as HQ, Lytera, and or antioxidants such as Vitamin C. You must sun protect, and you will need 4-6 C and B treatments, 2-4 weeks apart....
Clear and Brilliant is very similar to a Fraxel, except the maximum energy is only 5 mj, about a quarter of the maximum energy of Fraxel, the 1927 wavelength is similar, whilst the 1550 wavelength of the Fraxel is very close to the wavelength of the C and B. Video explains the differences...
I would recommend Kareskin Clarifying creams including Claripads, Clarase, and Replenish retinoid cream followed by Clear and Brilliant laser and Yag laser. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
