Dent under left breast. Will this go away with time or not? (Photo)

Question

Hello, last November I got a breast lift breast augmentation. I went 325 cc. Everything went smooth but I noticed a dent under left breast right after surgery and figured with time it would heal. It’s still the same. I’m sure it’s scar tissue but just wanted more of an explanation. I was Supposed to have a post op app this June and I was going to ask my dr then but the receptionist told me I was not on the books for an appointment. I’m wondering if this will go away with time or not.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

You are fairly healed from your surgery, so the dent will probably remain. You are probably the only person who notices it, and it should not be noticeable in clothing. However, it can be improved with surgery if desired.

The uneven contour beneath your left breast following your breast lift with an augmentation may improve with time.  This is best determined by carefully following the appearance monthly after surgery. 
it is impossible to speculate whether this area will further improve with time.  It is probably a good time for a follow-up consultation with your surgeon for guidance and recommendations..
