Dent under left breast. Will this go away with time or not? (Photo)

Hello, last November I got a breast lift breast augmentation. I went 325 cc. Everything went smooth but I noticed a dent under left breast right after surgery and figured with time it would heal. It’s still the same. I’m sure it’s scar tissue but just wanted more of an explanation. I was Supposed to have a post op app this June and I was going to ask my dr then but the receptionist told me I was not on the books for an appointment. I’m wondering if this will go away with time or not.

If you are already a 36DD, adding an implant will cause your size to go up. Some tissue gets removed with the lift but the volume of the implant is greater.

Plastic surgeons generally do not promise a cup size as there is so much variability. In the most general of terms, around 125-150 cc increases account for about a cup size.

Your best bet is probably another fat transfer if you are looking to increase symmetry. You will be higher risk for recurrent infection.

While you should ideally stop smoking for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your BAM, you must NOT smoke for a minimum or 24 hours before and 24 hours after surgery. Definitely stop smoking! Smoking reduces circulation to the skin and impedes healing.
