What value glycolic acid peel should I use for my bikini area?

Hi! I am a 19 year old female with light skin and dark hair, and for years I have suffered from ingrown hairs, lately this has gotten better, and I have very very dark skin and scarring left on my bikini line. It is embarrassing and unsightly. I only wax (never shave) every 3 or so weeks, and I have tried EVERYTHING. I do not want laser therapy for this, so please let me know what % glycolic acid peel I can use for this area that will be safe but also help remove these dark marks. Thank you

Yes, it is possible that the peel may have been too strong! Other peels like a salicylic peel may be more helpful.
