I prepared my skin as recommended and am used to using 10% strength quite regular. I suffer with mild to moderate acne and this seems to reduce the amount of acne and brighten the skin as well as dry out the blemishes. Have I over done it with the 35%. I only left the peel on for 2mins, neutralised but it did feel warm 4a few hours after. It isn't sore or red just as I run my fingers over the skin it feels scaly & rough as if it needs to peel around my cheeks and lower jaw.. What should I do?
Hello, Ive been undergoing sessions of glycolic peel on a small but very pigmented spot on my leg, and a few on my lower back. My doctor is using a light peel and after 3 sessions, Im seeing no peeing and no results. Ive also been using Tri-Luma cream and it did little to nothing. My spot is old, about 12 years old, caused by an insect bite. Should I ask my doctor for a higher strength peel? Im paying $200 a session and am frustrated by the no results. He also doesnt communicate. Thanks.
So about 2 weeks back I used the peeling solution, and a day later some areas of my face were swollen with a visible edema which lasted for a day after which those areas became tighter, wrinkly and flaky. Now I could see them as blotched patches showing hypopigmentation. At the moment, I'm only using heavy duty moisturizers and hydroquinone 4% during evenings on hopes of having an even tone at least. Any suggestions to speed up the healing process or whether this hypopigmentation is permanent?
I will attach three pics. Im concerned about the 11 lines that formed out of nowhere. I let glycolic acid sit on my forehead for a bit and those lines just popped up. What should I do? Also, the nasolabial lines that I received a year after filler, what could help?
Hello I am using tazartone for anti aging and skin rejuvination. I recently purchased some at home glycolic acids pads. They are 20 percent. Would it be overkill to occasionally use the glycolic acid pad while using tazartone? How long in between using these different products is a good time period? Several days? I am working hard to rejuvenate my skin! I of course know not to use them in the Same day as that would probably irritate the skin too much
I'm a 20 year-old Indian girl with olive skin and thick hair. ha laser hair removal when I was 17(I had12sittings) and I noticed moderate hyperpigmentation around legs and underarms I stopped with laser sessions. I have many ingrown hairs on legs which are not in the form of inflamed raised bumps, but are like brown spots with hair trapped deeper under the skin it's impossible to squeeze the hair out. My hyperpigmentation has reduced, I apply Tretinoin(0.025%).
I was told these bumps are syringomas. They appeared almost overnight, and I have never had this happened before so I am not convinced. I was told electrocautery or a chemical peel would help.
