I have bilateral swelling of my lacrimal glands for about 6 months now. I believe the cause is from chronic epstein barr. But I hate the way my eyes look. Is there any chance of getting a plastic surgeon to help me get rid of them? Or am I stuck with them swelling all the time?

Canthopexy by itself will not raise the lower eyelids unless the corner of the eye is also pinched which is not desired. What truly raises the lower eyelids is lower eyelid retraction surgery which can be combined with canthopexy or canthoplasty.
