Is it normal to have to have a sudden gush of light pink fluid from where the drain lines were?

which actually made a puddle at my feet of very light pink colored fluid out of one drainage site at ten days post op TT day 11? No pain just shocked at the sudden rush of fluid. My abdomen actually feels less tight and swollen now.

Sounds like you had a seroma that spontaneously drained.  probably not dangerous but worth checking in with your plastic surgeon.

Sounds like your drains were removed a little early and the fluid they were draining collected underr your skin, a seroma, which then eploded to the surface.  It may recollect so i would see my PS

Thank you for your question.  A gush of fluid  10 days after Tummy Tuck from the drain site is certainly unusual.Typically the drain sites closed after the drains have been removed.  It is common for some drainage to occur when the drains are removed as the drains may have been clogged and not adequately draining the fluid.The good thing is that the fluid needed to come out so it is fortunate that it was released.I would recommend you see your plastic surgeon to make sure that you do not have a seroma.

It sounds like you had developed a fluid collection (called a seroma) after the drain was removed.  Not a rare occurrence and not usually medically worrisome.  That it drained spontaneously is (although a nuisance) a good thing as it will now not need to be drained by your surgeon in the office.  However you will need to be checked to make sure the seroma does not recur once the site of drainage seals over.
