Is it normal to have creases and folds and uneven stitching along your TT scar? (photo)

This appears to be normal healing at 4 days post op. The  creases in the skin and the unevenness will almost certainly resolve with just time. It might take 3 months for you to appreciate the final results, but it appears that you are well on your way and will likely be quite pleased with your end results.

Healing After A Tummy Tuck This is very early and is most likely normal healing. The scar can be treated with tape, scar creams or laser to get the best possible result. The position of the umbilicus will be more apparent in 3 months with healing.

Your scar looks pretty typical for four days post operatively; it will continue to improve as should the navel. Your scar looks like that on purpose. In most cases, recreating a shapely figure requires that skin be pulled not just down, but down and to the center. That requires a little extra at the top of the incision that is distributed along the length of it, especially in the middle.  The extra causes wrinkles and folds which are always worst right in the middle. That is the cause of your complaint in the center. In time, these wrinkles and folds settle out and get better.  Your surgeon did what he or she did because he or she knows that your shape improvement is permanent and these wrinkles are permanent.  Your end result is many months away and patience, although really hard to have, is exceptionally valuable to your recovery.Best,Dr. Pyle
