Mosquito bite scars - how can I treat them? (Photo)

Since I was young, my legs have had many scars. I am really insecure about the mosquito marks on my legs, they were due to mosquito bites long ago but it has left scars that wont go. My skin tone is biege and my scars are 7-8 years old. I request you to please suggest me products that will actually be helpful. The scar is dark brown in colour. I have tried many remedies but they are not effective. What should I do?

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started.

Chemical peels can help reduce the appearance of scars by removing the top layer of your skin and promoting new skin growth. Laser treatment can be an effective method for reducing scar visibility. Microneedling involves the use of tiny needles to puncture the skin, promoting collagen production and skin regeneration. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Therapy treatment uses light pulses to penetrate the skin and target pigment production, which can help lighten the scars.
