10 days post op, should I be worried about suture track marks after upper bleph? (photos)

It's day 10 after my upper blepharoplasty, and I am wondering if I should be worried about what look like suture track marks where the doctor used outside stitches. I had significant swelling, and the knots were quite tight, so that the nurse had some problems getting the sutures out. The sutures were taken out on day 8.

These are totally normal at 10 days.  They will go away in time.  You are healing nicely so no worries.

I really don't see anything to worry about. This is early in the convalescence and one remodeling will go on for several months.

I would not be concerned with any track marks left by sutures on your upper eyelids 10 days after surgery.  These should fade away fairly soon.  I would say that you appear to be healing very well 10 days after the procedure.

At ten days postop, you are healing still and not seeing your final result. Most likely these marks will fade. be patient and give yourself time to heal. If the issue persists, discuss with your surgeon.

Good question, and I can understand your concern.  At this point I would not be worried about permanent suture marks along your upper blepharoplasty incision.  From your photo, your incision is healing quite nicely, and the majority of the incision will remain hidden in a natural fold of the upper eyelid.  The skin in this area typically heals quite nicely.  My best advice is to remain very patient.  You will see the incisions and the scar fade dramatically in the coming month or two.
