Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and I am sorry that your current results have not been what you anticipated.  Preoperative photographs would be useful, but at 5 weeks after surgery your tissues are likely still demonstrating soft tissue swelling that is masking your long-term results.  I would voice your concerns to your surgeon, initiate tissue massage for tethering, and consider steroid injections for any areas of significant scarring.  If after 6+ months your tissues continue to have an indentation a revision with either fat grafting, local fat flap rearrangement, or skin excision can be considered.  Hang in there!

I totally understand your frustration, but 5 weeks is really too soon to be passing judgement on your results. You are still swollen and very well could be for the next few months. For now, be patient. If you are still not happy at 6 months post op then speak with your surgeon.

Thank you for posting your pictures.  I am sorry that this has been a rough and lengthy course for you.  At this time point, you are likely too soon after surgery to stress significantly about the final result.  The skin envelope may continue to shrink, and some aggressive scar massage may help with the tethered skin that is causing the indentation.  I would recommend visiting with your surgeon to discuss your concerns, as well as starting aggressive massage (firm massage in the surgical site and depressed area of your chest).  If indeed a depression remains after six to twelve months, a revision may be considered, but not currently at this early time point.  A revision may consist of additional liposuction, fat grafting and/or potentially even some skin excision.  But for now, you are far too soon after surgery to begin thinking about revision as a necessity.  Again, I would visit with your surgeon to discuss your concerns.  Best of luck.
