I removed the gyno by myself

Question

So I removed my gyno about 2 weeks ago and no pain or swelling and the stitches closed the wound really well, no infection neither just a small bruise, but I read that I when removing the gyno, liquids can from the body can go to the breast and swell, will that happen? To answer additional questions I removed it by opening about an inch on the side of the areola and removed it, but I did not remove the fat just the gyno is that bad? I also sterilized the razor and everything before using them.

Thank you for sharing your question.  Consider yourself lucky that you have not developed a complication from surgery as it is unwise to perform surgical procedures without appropriate training, much less on oneself.  That said swelling after surgery is common and I place my gynecomastia patients in a compression garment to minimize this side effect.  Hope this helps.

In general, you want to use a professional for things like this. You have exposed yourself to significant risk of infection, scarring, irregular results, and bleeding. At this point I recommend that you go see a doctor to evaluate what has happened.
