How soon can I possibly be presentable after bullhorn lip lift surgery?

I have olive skin and I scar well. I'm a really fast healer and in excellent health. I'm 48. Do you think it is possible for me to be presentable in public a week after this type of surgery? I don't have that much time avail to take at this time. Also-my surgeon takes the stitches out a week after surgery

Hello, we do 2-4 lip lifts of this type each week; more than likely anywhere.  Sutures are present for several days and then there is a thin line that is visible for a while.  You can cover that area with cosmetics after about a week, but you may be more comfortable in 8-10 days before being very active in the public arena.Lip lifts are done in the office, and we see many folks from NY who come in, have it done, and go home the same day.

In general, you should be presentable within a couple of days post op.  In many cases, internal sutures are used, so there are no sutures to remove.  Discuss the technique used with your surgeon for a better understanding of your downtime.  Best wishes!
