Is it normal to see my bottom teeth when smile?

My upper teeth barely show when I smile. The gum is hooded from my top lip and I'm wondering if that's normal? My bottom teeth on the other hand, are very visible. I need to know if there's any procedure I can do to make my bottom teeth less noticeable and my upper teeth bigger.

Thank you for your question.Without an exam, it is hard to give my expert opinion. As for tooth show with smiling, if your upper teeth are covered, you may likely be a candidate for a lip lift operation. The incision is placed along the base of the nose and skin is removed to shorten the upper lip. It is a great operation to rejuvenate the mouth.I hope this helps.
