I recently heard about a procedure called the Y Lift. What exactly does it do?

As cosmetic physicians, each of us develop our own individual techniques for doing filler injections in face through years of treating patients and each doctor's technique can be slightly different. Some go ahead and trademark their specific technique and approach and Y Lift is an example. In reality, most of these share the same underlying approaches and as long as you work with a physician who is experienced in filler injections and Liquid Facelift to achieve natural looking results, you should be fine regardless of the name they call their approach. An experienced physician know how and where to injection fillers for each patient to achieve the best results and generally speaking, there is no one-size-fit-all in liquid facelift. The Y Lift, OC Lyft and a liquid face lift are all similar, they use multiple syringes of fillers to globally improve many of areas of your face at once.  In my Laguna Niguel cosmetic dermatology practice in Orange County, I have developed the "OC Lyft"(TM) which utilizes multiple syringes of fillers for a set fee.  This often saves the patient money as compared with paying for each syringe individually.  It is more appropriate for patients 50 years old and older who need improvement in their cheeks, jawline, chin, under eyes and lips.

the Y lift it’s a dermal filler facelift wich is one of the more effective treatments. Imediate results and lasts around 12-18 months depending on the HA. Facial examination is crucial to know if you are acceptable for it.

A  "Y-lift" is a term coined by a physician to describe his method for preforming a liquid face lift. Liquid face lifts, when done by very experienced injectors, yield beautiful results. In general, it takes the heaviness and sagging out of the lower part of the face by giving volume the upper part of the face. It usually takes several syringes of filler and may even include Sculptra or Botox. My best advice would be to seek a consult with an experienced, licensed, professional that has performed numerous liquid lifts and who's ideas matches yours for what you would like to see as your final result.
