Fat grafting survival after infection and bleeding. Any experience?

I am 40. 2 months ago I had a facelift and just before surgery the doctor suggested fat grafting to the periorbital area, to which I said yes, the biggest mistake of my life, as my face now is overfilled. 1st week after facelift I developed infection at both surgical sites (ears) and in the 2nd week sudden bleeding ending up in hospital for a 2nd surgery. It was a terrible experience! My question is if the survival of fat was negatively affected as this is my only hope it will be reabsorbed soon

Yes you can do lipofilling to add volume and make the skin healthy. Breaking up the tissue connecting the deep structures to the skin will also blunt the under-eye line you see.

Yes you need fat grafting to the cheek area. Do you have fat elsewhere in the body? If not, nowadays there are off the shelf products from MTF that are like fat, and not like filler.
