Ideal Implant issue. Are any Ideal Implant surgeons honoring their work?

I had Ideal Inplants about three years ago and one is malformed, feels clumpy, and has has given my breast and angular appearance. I did not realized that the compnay filed Chapter 7 of last year, until my surgeon told me when I went to see him. He told me I no longer had a warranty and baically, buh-by. Are any Ideal Implant surgeons honoring their work? I am so shocked and disappointef because he very much talked me into them. Thank you.

Even though the Ideal Implant company is no longer in business, your PS should be able to help you solve any problem you are having.  Even if the company was in business, their warranty would only cover you if the implant leaked or deflated.  Talk to your PS to discuss your concerns and hopefully he/she can help you get a better result.  Best of luck!

It doesn't matter who you choose, no one has them anymore. The good news is that highly cohesive silicone gel implants are much better and just as safe. Please read two books: 1. Science on Trial, Marcia Angell, M.D., 1996 (she is an internal medicine doc, and was the was the executive editor of the New England Journal of Medicine at the time of this writing). 2. Silicone on Trial, Jack Fisher, M.D., 2015 (retired chair of Dept of Plastic Surgery, UCSD, now history professor and author of multiple books).
