Uneven cheeks, one side is lower and darker than the other -- what are my options? (Photos)

Both implants and fillers in the cheeks can create good results for patients.  Both can build up the cheeks and create symmetry.  You must balance the pros and cons of each procedure and do what you feel is the best decision for you.
Fillers:
Pros: No downtime Reversible Quick
Cons: Temporary More expensive in long run
Implants Pros: Permanent Great for patients with poor bone structure Less expensive overtime
Negative: Risks associated with surgery Possible infection Downtime

Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  Based on
your photographs, I would recommend fillers or fat grafting to help improve your asymmetry.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

Uneven cheeks usually is the result of facial asymmetry with is mostly related to asymmetry of the underlying facial skeleton. Correction can be easily accomplished with fillers. More permanent correction can occur from cheek implants. I usually suggest customized implants if symmetry is the goal. While expensive, they give the most accurate result, as they are designed from a CT scan of your face.
