Which proceedure is better to start with? BBL or breast reduction?

I have decided to get a breast reduction and lift. As well as a BBL. I dont want to do them at the same time and i am hoping to also get information on how far apart i should have these surgeries. Which surgery should i start with so as not to mess up the second or vice versa. Im looking at possibly getting both done separately within a 3-4month window. HELP!

Thanks for your question.It doesn't matter which procedure you do first. Breast reduction is less painful. You should give yourself 2 to 3 months between surgeries. Please always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.

I would recommend the BBL first because you do not know how much fat will exactly remain and may need more fat put in. If that is the case, then this can be easily done at the time of breast reduction/lift. I would recommend to do the surgeries 4 - 6 months apart.

Thank you for the questions. The sequence of your surgeries does not matter. You can do either first. Just make sure to give yourself time to recover between the surgeries. 4-6 months is normally best to wait between procedures especially with going under anesthesia. While both can be done at the same time for many patients, it is perfectly reasonable to stage them.  It is really a persona choice as to which one should go first, but I would give it about 4 months between surgeries.  Best of luck. The video below is for a breast lift but the recovery is pretty much the same.

I would start with the procedure that most bothers you. You should be able to have the other procedure within about 6 months if your blood tests do not show residual anemia. I would suggest being on Iron pills so as to assist in correcting blood loss from the first procedure. Good luck!
