Why are the results of BBL in DR/Colombia better than US?

I’ve been searching on RealSelf and all the reviews(before/after pictures) on here seem to show that people who get BBL in Dr/Colombia get more dramatic(better) results. Is there a reason why US doctors can’t produce the same results? I understand the price difference but beyond that the results are just better. Why can they Lipo more and put in more but US Doctors seem to not do the same?

Far more important than the technique is the skill and experience of your plastic surgeon. Choose your surgeon rather than the technique and let them explain why one technique may be better than another.  See the below link on some suggestions on finding the most qualified Plastic Surgeon for you.  Always insist on a board certified plastic surgeon.

Hello and thank you for your question. I do agree that the results do appear to be excellent in the Dominican republic and Colombia . It’s not really clear why the results seem consistently superior. However, on occasion, the aggressive liposuction that is performed by the surgeons in these countries may result in excessive bleeding requiring blood transfusion, tissue damage and/or death. My suspicion is that The doctors in these countries do add significantly more fat graft to the hip area with an excellent liposuction of waistline fat or plication of the abdominal muscles  when a TT is performed. The ratios that they are able to obtain between the waist and the hip appear to be superior. Continue to do your research before you commit to surgery.Good luck.

While BBL results in DR and Colombia  in many cases appear to be impressive, there are also many complications. In the United States the first and foremost requirement is patient safety. This may entail the surgeon being more conservative. But there are many  many plastic surgeons here in the US who achieve excellent results while adhering to maximum patient safety.

Why are the results of BBL in DR/Colombia better than US?
