The costs of BBL varies based on location of the practice, the physician, the patient's anatomy, and the number of areas that are needed for liposuction in order to harvest the fat to be injected into the buttocks. I wouldn't choose a surgeon on cost alone, but look at their results and choose one you feel comfortable with. Additionally, most plastic surgery practices offer payment plans through financing companies such as Care Credit and Alpheon. In LA area, BBL typically ranges from 8K-12K depending on how much liposuction needs to be done to get enough fat. More so than in any other procedure, time is the greatest factor in the cost of a Brazilian Butt Lift. Of course, a surgeon's experience and skill will also determine the rate for this procedure, but the time needed due to the complexity and amount of work on a given patient is the most significant variable. Time is influenced by: a patient's initial body structure, number of areas of liposuction, harvesting technique, and transfer technique. A patient's initial body structure (bone and muscle structure, amount and distribution of fat) greatly influences the amount of work necessary to obtain a given result. Someone who is heavier may have a more difficult time obtaining the shape or proportions they want. Someone who is thinner is going to require more areas to obtain fat for transfer... and will need a skilled and experienced surgeon to harvest the fat while ensuring that the areas that have been liposuctioned still look smooth, natural and proportionate.In order to get the size and shape you desire, extra care and time for this procedure is needed to properly process the harvested fat and to properly perform the transfer. Otherwise, the percentage of fat survival will be low. If you receive a quote that seems too good to be true, or if you see a low advertised price for a Brazilian Butt Lift, there's a good chance that you will be short-changed somewhere along your procedure. I have seen many patients who get sucked in by these ploys and then need correction of poorly performed fat transfers.
