I am 8 days post SMAS facelift ( neck, lower and mid face plus upper and lower eyes) I have slightly more swelling on the right side of my face than the left ( I know this is to be expected)but it hurts to open mouth or chew esp. on the right side. My PS says this is normal and not to chew anything hard or turn head for a couple of months .... is this normal. Also the suture lines to my eyes don't seem very fine especially the lower.
