Hi, I am finally getting Botox for my chronic migraine tomorrow. But I had all of my wisdom teeth removed on June 26. Is it safe to have Botox in my jaw area, or should I wait for that and just get it everywhere else? II am still recovering as I also had a large cyst removed Thanks!

As you are receiving Botox for migraines and not cosmetic reasons the location of injections will be tailored to that outcome. If you are wanting to also address wrinkles then you can discuss that additional treatment with your injector.
There’s absolutely no possibility of Botox leaking from the injection site. The needles we use are extremely thin which is another reason that your Botox treatment will not cause any leakage
Something that you can take before to alleviate the pain from Botox would be extra strength Tylenol. It is important not to take any blood thinning medications before the injections including fish oil, Advil, alive, etc. Tylenol is not a blood thinning medication.
